Design Story

The impact comes from depth staging. Foreground: an outstretched clawed hand, talons breaking toward the viewer. Midground: the skull face with burning amber eyes, jaw open, framed by a striped nemes headdress and a jeweled collar. Background: hieroglyph-carved pillars, flame braziers and twin black Anubis statues locking the edges into near symmetry. Gold, bone-white and deep shadow do the heavy lifting, with red accents pulling the eye to the face. Scattered scrolls, a skull and spilled jeweled treasure fill the lower band so the motion has somewhere to land. Controlled chaos, cleanly organized.

Entryway & Styling

As a doormat, the scalloped rectangular footprint suits the artwork perfectly. Viewed from above at standing distance, the central motif reads instantly, while the pillars and Anubis guards act as a natural border treatment.
