Design Story
The front-facing focal panel is built around a medallion: a circular field holding the Power T, framed by an arc reading PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND and flanked by two upright trumpets rendered in fine tonal linework. Beneath it, TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS sits in stacked, wide-tracked lettering with a small star pivot below. The lower taper carries a chevron motif and a second pair of horns, so the composition reads top-heavy by intention and resolves downward. A strictly two-tone palette — warm cream against soft gold — keeps the hierarchy legible with almost no colour noise.
Use & Experience
The wraparound layout respects the tumbler's vertical proportion: crest at eye level, supporting motifs below the waist of the form, generous negative space between them. Gold accents on the collar band, handle and straw cap echo the linework, pulling the graphic into the whole object rather than sitting on it.
