Design Story
The composition is built vertically and symmetrically: arched lettering reading PHILADELPHIA above a thinner FOOTBALL CLUB rule, then a crowned shield framed by laurel branches, a PHI roundel at the apex, and a ribbon banner marked EST. 1933. Below that, a small winged motif acts as a full stop before a pale cream band carrying LIMITED RESERVE and EXECUTIVE PRIVATE CLUB. The eagle head sits at the visual centre in cool grey and white, the only break in an otherwise gold-on-green palette. That restraint is what makes it work — tonal contrast does the shouting so the linework doesn't have to.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler silhouette, the layout is smart: the crest owns the front-facing focal panel at eye level, while the banded gold rules at top and base close the wraparound composition and echo the vertical proportion.
